Lack of Research Works Over Boy's Wallet

The stupid train is costing a fortune.

It isn't actually called The Stupid Train. And it isn't costing an actual fortune. It's really just costing TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS (bleh) and it's only stupid because I have to be on it for THIRTY SIX stupid hours. Two nights on the train. I better not have A)smelly bunkmates B)creepy bunkmates C)loud bunkmates and D)bunkmates who have no sense of humor about awkward silence. Cause there will be plenty of that, seeing as we will be staring at each other for THIRTY SIX hours.

In other news, I think I'm going crazy. I'm sitting in an internet cafe, and I have this weird twitch in my right eyebrow. It's been going for a half hour now and I can't make it stop. Additionally, the screen is flickering between white and light pink and darker pink every 4 or five seconds, which is roughly on the same time pattern that my twitch is on. Which leads me to believe that the world has become unstable, that I have become somehow detached and am about to float lack-of-gravity style up up and away. The worst part is that I'll miss The Stupid Train if that happens.

Despite the negativity of this post, I'm in a great mood. Ultra-speed-touring Budapest has been a blast. I'm not doing the formal ultra-speed-tour, I'm doing the When I Was Here Five Years Ago In A Nutshell Tour. I spent yesterday wandering all around strangely familiar streets in Buda, having lots of deja vu moments of Whoa, I Think I've Been Here. Walked all through the palace, and decided the only photos I would take would be replicates of the photos that I took when I was here last time. That was fun.

My Budapest adventure was all capped off this morning with plenty of Palacsintas at the Best Palacsinta House In The World. Mmmmm.

Now I'm off to buy groceries for my journey.

And yikes, my screen just turned bright magenta. That means it is time to go.
