Czech It Out

Sunday:
I arrived in Prague, found some good city info and found my way to the hostel. I spent the first two nights at the Travellers Hostel in the center of old town. A wild and crazy place that I did two nights in and got away from. Met some pretty ok people. I ate chinese food for CHEAP.

Monday:
Wandered and wandered through this incredible city. It's gorgeous. More to come on that. I met some really nice folks, Phil from England, Simon from France and Don from Vancouver. I cooked a terrible meal for CHEAP.

Tuesday:
Moved into the well recommended (and amazingly awesome) Czech Inn. It's ultra swanky. And it's cheap also. In the evening I met with Phil and Simon (Phil is here for another week, Simon is living here) and we went to a hockey game, where we watch the hometown heroes lose and we ate huuuge sausages and drank beer. FOR CHEAP.

Prague is full of wonderful things that cost about 1/47 of remarkably identical Scandinavian things.

Today I'm heading back to the old town (the Czech Inn is pretty far out, about a half hour walk or a ten minute tram ride) to meet Simon. He just moved here a couple weeks ago, so he is still learning the city. We'll explore north of the river from old town today.
